Today St Bernadette class ventured down to Pizza express in the covered market.
We were lucky enough to take part in a cooking workshop. We had a great discussion about healthy eating and what ingredients are required to make pizzas.
We then were given dough to work, stretching it from hand to hand and adding our ingredients.
We made Margherita pizzas with tomato, cheese and basil, to represent the colours of the Italian flag.
It only took 5 minutes for each pizza to cook in an oven which was 350 degrees!
After we went and sat in Christ Church Meadow to enjoy our lunch!
There are a fair few calories in pizza, so we marched (almost) all of the way back to school from town – only giving up on between towns road as we were late for lunch
