After a long and very expensive (sorry Mr White) journey to the Oratory Prep School in Goring our Year 5 and 6 boys football team too part in the ESFA Oxfordshire Small Schools Cup Final.
Due to the size of the taxi we were limited to just 7 children without any subs, but what a magnificent seven they were.
We played 20 minutes each way against Whitchurch School, an early goal from Selasi and a pin-point free kick from our Polish Wunderkind meant we led 2-0 at half time.
Throughout the second half we continued to press, with both Olivers proving too much for the opposition.
Thomas, Gabriel and Seyi ensured the clean sheet, and two goals from Christian and a second from Selasi meant we came through as 5-0 winners.
Our victory means we now go on to represent Oxfordshire in the Regional Finals in Bristol – a truly incredible achievement.
