2024-2025
As of September 2024, St John Fisher is a 'No Homework' School.
We believe that parents should read with their children every day, and we reward "Reads" in their reading diary when they hit key milestones with prizes in assembly.
We believe that in EYFS and KS1 Phonics should be key to a child's home learning.
We believe in spending time persuing you child's interests and trying to develop a healthy relationship reagrding their education.
Support will be offered, and work may be sent home to complete, but there will be no formal homework.
