Yesterday afternoon a reporter and camera operative from BBC News came into school to film Mrs McCarthy discussing her role in the school, the demands of Teaching Assistants and the disparity of their pay in relation to the cost of living.

Two of our wonderful Y2 children also appeared modelling Mrs McCarthy's great work with her phonics groups

They still made it to cooking club after!
