As you all know by now, we have had a Pop-Up pool in the school for the past month. This has allowed us to ensure that our children have been able to swim every day and meet the requirements of the National Curriculum without the need to travel to Blackbird Leys.

It has been a fantastic experience for the children and a unique and engaging way to drive a buzz around swimming.

I have seen the improvement first hand, and it has been incredible.

Next year, I hope to have funding to have a slightly more permanent fixture, or at least a longer rental, electricity costs are our only enemy here.

I am yet to see the TV coverage, but assume it is all positive.
