Yesterday was the first day of our sporting calendar with our Y5/6 girls taking part in an Oxford Wide competitor at The Oxford Academy.

Our team was incredibly strong and compact, playing 4 games and not conceding a goal (or even looking like conceding), making it through the whole morning without losing.

However, as we only won one game, it was not enough to see us through to the semi-finals on goal difference. This was a bit of bad luck, as if we were in the other group, we would have coasted through with our points.

The girls played amazingly well, and have the makings of a superb team!
