Please read the message from Mhairi – this message is intended for parents of children who are already receiving tuition.
Dear parents & carers,
Over the past year your child has had the opportunity to learn the violin in their class at school. As we approach the end of this school year, lessons will cease just before the summer holidays begin. Any children who have been taking the instrument home will be instructed to leave their violins in school at this point.
Some children have really enjoyed learning an instrument and have asked if it is possible to continue lessons after the summer holiday. Oxfordshire County Music Service are a team of music teachers who visit schools and lessons can be offered on a smaller group basis. The link below will tell you everything you need to know about costs, and from this page you can sign your child up for lessons.
It would be wonderful to have some children continue their musical journey, so if your child is interested, please follow the link and sign them up for lessons.

Most tuition is offered by our visiting teachers in schools around the county during the school day. However, there are also out-of-school opportunities for all ages. www.oxfordshire.gov.uk |
