Today we welcomed Fr Harry into school for our Marion Service.
First he went into Nursery to deliver a special blessing around their own Mary image
Our wonderful Y1 and Y2 teachers, Mr McEwan and Ms McCarthy led a beautiful service where Fr Harry explained the significance of the service, why we honour Our Lady at this time and helped us all pray a decade of the Rosary.
He even shared that he had a photo of himself from many years ago at a Marion Service as a little boy – when he finds the picture, we will share with everyone!
Thank you to Selassi, Amber and Mr Keith who helped set up our beautiful area, and to all the Year 6s who put it away!
Mrs Ball is going to work on an Immaculate display in the hall with all of the beautiful flowers which have been brought in.
