Important Reminders

Homework is given out on Thursdays to be returned the following Tuesday.

PE will be on Thursday every week and Swimming on Friday. Please ensure that you have the correct kit for both days.

Please make sure children bring a named water bottle to school to use throughout the school day.

It is very important that you are reading every day at home. Ensure you read a variety of books/ authors and that you keep a record of your reading.

You could use our Virtual Library if you need something to read.

Click on the image below to access it.

Purple Mash

Children must access Purple Mash every week and complete tasks on their 2do list. Just like we did in class! Remember you will find your login and password on the inside of your homework book.

Multiplication Table Checker

As part of your weekly homework, you should be practising your times tables. In order to help you build up your speed of recall, you have been assigned the task of completing the online times table check on Purple Mash.

This is the test we have been using in class.

Please login using the Purple Mash login at the front of your homework book. Make sure you are logging into our school on Purple Mash – the website is:

https://www.purplemash.com/stjohnfisher

You will be able to see your result and check any questions you may have made errors with. This will help you to see which times tables you need more practice with.

The more you practise the quicker your recall of facts will be.

Websites to Help with Times Tables Practice

Please practice your 3,4,6 and 8 times tables to begin with. Then move onto your 7, 9 and 12 times tables. You should already be confident with the 2, 5, 10 and 11 times tables.
