This week year 5 spent the day in a science lab. The theme was COLOUR. Students tested chemicals to check if it was an acid or an alkali. They also did some work with Chromatography-ie is a black pen really black? And they did flame tests, burning metal solutions to see their characteristic colour. What a day!
