This morning, the curtain closed on 'A King is Born' the KS1 and EYFS Nativity performance for this year.

Our children were incredible: singing, acting and dancing their hearts out to tell the story of the birth of Christ.

We also welcomed a special guest, Flash the donkey, who Mary bravely rode to Bethlehem.

There were a few nervy moments when it looked like Mary might fall, but she clung on tight, and when the donkey was reluctant to go, Ms McCarthy gave him a big push up the bum and kept him moving.

Hopefully the children will remember this for a long time, and I am sure all the parents who attended will agree that they were incredible!
