Saturday afternoon (and morning for some of us!) saw the St John Fisher Summer Fayre return in full glory.

Mrs Ball, Mrs Moss and Mrs Gibbons had been working incredibly hard all year planning and preparing for this day, and we would not let the weather defeat us.

Tense negotiations with the inflatable company saw us settle on 3/5 inflatables and then the teams of staff, family and friends kicked into action to prepare the site for an outdoor fare, but inside!

The day was an unbelievable success. I felt so proud to be part of a community who came together and created such a positive atmosphere.

Thank you so much to all the staff who stayed and helped out for the day, and for everyone who came along.

I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did, and I am glad my time in the stocks helped raise money for the school.

We are hoping to use this as a starting point to raise enough money this year to purchase a climbing frame for the KS2 playground in Summer 25.

Again, thanks to all who came, supported and helped out, and well done to the lucky raffle winners.

We know Olly the Ox was a no-show, but are in negotiations to see if we can get something back from Oxford United, watch this space!
